The Government of India had entrusted to the Authority the development, maintenance and management of Greenfield alignment of National Highway No. 146 including the section from Design 88-361 (existing chalnage km 110-315 near Gyaraspur) to Design Chainage km 124-470 (existing chainage km 148+180 near Rahatgarh) (approx. 36.109km). The Authority had resolved Four lanning of section NH-146 from Design 88-361 (existing chainage km 110-315 near Gyaraspur) to Design Chainage km 124+470 (existing chainage km 148+180 near Rahatgarh) (Design Length -36.109 km) under NH (O) in the State of Madhya Pradesh on HAM Mode.

PROPOSAL FOR IMPROVED CONNECTIVITY
This project aim to improve connectivity, particularly on economic corridors, border areas, and remote areas with rapid and safe movement of cargo to boost exports. International trade is considered as a key aspect in this scheme and northeastern states have given special focus .

PROJECT SITE
The Existing Site of the Two Lane Project Highway comprises the section of National Highway 146 commencing from 88.361 to 124.470 i.e., Gyaraspur to Rahatgarh in Gyaraspur Rahatgarh section in the State of Madhya Pradesh. The construction package for the project includes developing the existing two lane carriageway to four lane from Gyaraspur, existing km 110.315 to Rahatgarh existing km 148.180.
