4-L OF NH 37 FROM DESIGN CH 0+000 ON NH-8 NEAR KARIMGANJ TO DESIGN CHAINAGE 14+250 NEAR SUTARKANDI (SPUR CONNECTIVITY TO INDO/BANGLADESH BORDER) SILCHAR-CHURAIBARI PKG-7 IN THE STATE OF ASSAM ON HAM MODE.

The Government of India had entrusted to the Authority the development, maintenance and management of National Highway No. 08 including the section from km 0.000 (Design Chainage) to km 14.250 (Design Chainage) (approx. 14.25 km).The Authority had resolved to augment existing road from km 0.000 (Design Chainage) near Karimganj to km 14.200 (Design Chainage) near Sutarkandi (Spur connectivity to INDO-Bangladesh Border) (approximately 14.25 km) on Silchar-Churaibari Pkg-7 in the State of Assam by Four-Laning thereof(the “Project”) on design, build, operate and transfer (the “DBOT Annuity” or “Hybrid Annuity”) in the state of Assam.

PROJECT SITE

The Existing Site of the Two Lane Project Highway comprises the section of National Highway 37 & 8 commencing from 0.000 to 14.250 i.e., Karimganj to Sutarkandi (Spur connectivity to Indo/ Bangladesh Border) in Silchar Churaibari section in the State of Assam. The construction package for the project includes developing the existing two lane carriageway to four lane from km 0.000 to km 14.250.
